THE WEBSITE IS SAYING THEY`RE TOO LARGE TO UPLOAD!!Fresh built CX500c cafe racer!! Its time to sell my project so I can fund the next one. I started with a bone stock blown up 1980 honda CX500c and built a sleek looking very well running bike. Everything on the bike is new down to the handle bar controls. the engine has 200 miles since the rebuild and it is running very strong. The piggy back rear shocks also only have 200 miles on them and are properly adjusted for a old sporty feel. The seat is a cafe racer seat off of a cb500 that was modified to fit this bike. Most non-essiential things such as the stock H box and center stand have been removed to fit the style of the cafe racer but I have all of the stock parts which will go with the bike. Frame and other parts freshly painted a couple months ago. The mufflers are brand new and sound great! Everything works. Just replaced the fuel filter and spark plugs! This bike is an absolute blast to ride! It truly feels like a racing bike that was built in the 80`s. I have a very nice example of a 1973 TX650 (XS650) cafe racer for sale with 14,750 original miles. I put a lot of work and money into this bike over the summer, and she is running like a champ. Tons of torque and I`ve been told multiple times by friends that this was the fastest XS they`ve ridden. The CX500 Turbo wears minimal patina. Paint is excellent and still holds its luster. There are a few minor nicks in the decals and very slight oxidation on the pipe end caps. The gold Comstar Rims are absolutely stunning and in perfect condition. The plastics are in beautiful shape with zero stress fractures. This is a great example of a motorcycle from a time when the Japanese were experimenting with new and novel ways to achieve more power. This bike was part of a sub grouping within the collection, of Turbo bikes from other Japanese makes, that include both an 82 Yamaha Seca Turbo and an exceedingly rare Z1R-TC. The seller is open to offers for a package grouping. As stated, the bike was part of a static display. It has been stored in a climate controlled space for the past 15 years. [#50] Honda : Other HONDA Silverwing GL650 V cylinder engine like Ducati Red GOOD! CX

This is a Honda GL650 in acceptable condition for it`s age. The engine runs great with no known issues. It pulls strong and smooth. There is no smoke or funny noises. All the electricals work, turn signals, lights, gauges.... Charging system seems fine. It does not leak oil. There is a leak in the cooling system somewhere. I patched it up with silicone and it does not leak right now, but I`m sure it needs to be looked at. Also, keep in mind this is an older bike. Most of the rubber hoses and cables should be replaced. The front brake works, but I can hear the pads touching the disc when I push it. Cosmetically, it is not perfect, it has some corrosion and imperfections (again, it`s an old bike), but nothing is rusted through. The exhaust is fine, inside tank is not too bad. The paint is actually pretty good! And The seat, too. The tires are good, changed not long ago, with plenty of thread. Oil was changed, coolant replaced. The previous owner had it dealer maintained and kept it inside. This is kind of a unique bike, I think it was imported only for one year. The CX500 are more common. I have a fully customized 1978 Cx500 bratstyle motorcycle. It only has a little more than 2400 miles on it since the build. Hate to sell it (because not only is it awesome city bike, but I get people taking pictures of it and asking me questions about it when ever I park it outside somewhere) but it`s time to start another project. Here are the stats: -fiberglass headlight bucket with integrated speedo made by Carpy in Orange,CA. -new extra long fork ears. -custom chopped front fender -rebuilt front and rear brakes -new throttle cable, speedo cable and brake lines -new progressive fork springs, new fork seals, rebuilt fork, and powder coated lower forks. -powder coated wheels, with new Dunlop tire (2400 miles) -clipon handlebars, new grips, and bar end mirrors. -nos ignition coils. -ignitech cdi computer system -8 cell ballistic evo2 lithium battery -new custom wiring harness. -powder coated valve covers -new bullet turnsignal a front and back. -custom rear turn signal mounts -custom made brake light and license plate mount. -Mac 2into1 exhaust header, attached to an emgo reverse cone muffler. -rebuilt, and re-jetted carbs, with new cone filters. -side covers, air box/battery tray removed. -polished original rear springs -rear hoop, battery/electrics tray welded onto frame, as well as side walls to flatten the frame out. -custom flat bratstyle seat pan and leather upholstery -powder coated frame, swing arm, kickstand and center stand. -gas tank sealed, with new petcock and filter. -tank and headlight bucket painted `porsche` silver -new oil temperature dipstick -choke cable relocation -rebuilt final drive on driveshaft -cleaned and flushed radiator. will include extras: -a very hard to find cam chain tensioner that are not made any longer and your pretty much screwed if yours breaks. $50-100 value. -a full gasket set. Will not need for a very long time, but nice to have one on hand. $60-75 -black exhaust wrap. $25 The only flaws with the bike are some light rust on a couple of parts that weren`t replaced in the build (driver pegs, and on the front of the ignition), as well as slight wear on the leather seat on the front edge(only problem with a square brat seat), also some gas dropped on the left side valve cover and removed a layer of powder coat in a couple spots, and it also has an issue with cold starts( probably because of the rejetted carbs). I`m not going to lie and say that it starts first try every time, because it doesn`t, it will take a few tries if the bike has been sitting for a while, but alas despite how it looks it`s still a 37 year old vintage bike. The last photo is of the original cluster to show the original mileage before the build. I also have photos taken during the build if you would like to see those as well. I am asking $9500 as I have quite a bit more than that into the build, but I will entertain reasonable offers. I am not in a hurry to sell, so please no low ball offers. 1979 Honda Cx Series 500, CX500 Cafe Bike. The engine has about 23,000 miles on it. The engine runs excellent; brand new Ignitech ignition and the water pump seal has been replaced. New front tire, new battery, K+N air filter, fresh oil change with T6 Shell Rotella synthetic oil, rebuilt front master cylinder, new brakes front and rear, new seat, and fresh paint (2013). It is silver with a small amount of rainbow metalflake, looks fantastic. Cherry bomb mufflers are on it and it is loud. Lowered the front end 2` to tighten up the handling and installed new fork seals. The headlight was lowered with custom mounts and lowered the gauges to match. This CX500 was well kept and freshened up to address the parts that time would affect. The shocks (Progressive), fork seal and tires are all recent. 1980 Honda CX500 Deluxe in very nice condition.  This bike starts, runs, and rides exactly like it should.  Everything works properly (turn signals, gauge lights, both brake light switches, etc).  Original paint, original seat, no broken tabs on the sidecovers, no rust on the exhaust or in the fuel tank - just overall a nicely preserved CX 500. The front forks have been rebuilt with Progressive springs and new seals.  The Bridgestone tires are in good shape - rear is new and front is excellent.  The cooling system was recently flushed, and the battery was recently replaced.  The bike has a Hondaline rear luggage rack and trunk (not cheap aftermarket stuff).  The tool kit is under the seat where it belongs, and both factory Honda ignition keys are included. This bike is quite fun to ride - pleasant and nimble.  It sounds good, looks nice, and is economical.  I just took these photos, so they are current and accurate. Things you should know:  There is a small ding on each side of the fuel tank (smaller than a quarter).  The horn is a bit weak.  One of the plastic latches for the Hondaline trunk is broken (other plastic latch and metal latch are both intact and operational, trunk closes securely).  I do not have a key to lock the Hondaline trunk.  The brakes work well but occasionally squeak - brand new pads and shoes are included. As a free bonus item, I have a Vetter Quicksilver fairing for the bike (silver in color, nice windshield, square headlight).  If you or your shipper are ok hauling loose non-packaged items, I will include it with the motorcycle.  I am not willing to mount it on the bike nor am I willing to wrap or crate it for shipping.  If you opt not to take the fairing, there will be no change in the purchase price of the motorcycle. If you have any questions, please ask them prior to placing your bid. If you are local, or know someone who is, please consider coming to see the bike in person. Different things are important to different people, and while I have tried to describe all important aspects of the motorcycle, it`s impossible to cover every last detail. [#76] Other Makes : Honda CX 500 with sidecar Motorcycle and Sidecar

Great fun and ready for adventure. This outfit hasn`t had hardly any miles put on it since creation. I`ve ridden it about 30 miles to get it set up correctly but the wife refuses to ride in it so its time to move on to other projects. The seat is from a boat and completely waterproof, it hinges forward for storage behind. The engine runs great and the shaft drive works well with the sidecar giving some low down torq and low center of gravity. If you`ve only ever ridden motorcycles I`d recommend lessons before driving this home or bring a trailer, it takes some time getting used to the different riding style. Half day in a Walmart parking lot should do it. (Bryson City, North Carolina)
