2012 KTM 300 XC Professionally maintained: CSR custom suspension with fresh shock, Billet shock linkage guard, skid plate, carbon pipe guard, Rekluse clutch, new chain & sprocket, FMF spark arrestor, extra wheels, silencer, air filters, etc. Excellent trail / moto bike. $4900 firm (214) 491-0970 I’ve ridden this bike in off-road hare scrambles for the last few years and even narrowly missed the Texas State Enduro Championship on it last year. As a racer, I maintain my bikes carefully and use top notch parts. It’s had three pistons in it and I use KTM pistons which cost about $250 each. The current engine condition is good and shouldn’t need another top end for some time. It’s tuned for woods riding which makes it very easy to ride but it still has plenty of power. I have a straight silencer for closed courses and a spark arrestor for national forests, both FMF. Also have several air filters as I change it after every ride. I added a different ignition cover and removed the electric starter & battery when I first got the bike which lightened the bike by about 8 lbs. I still have the stock stuff if you want to go back to that. This bike was originally built for the owner of CSR suspension and the forks have over 18 hours of custom valving effort, the shock about 8 hrs work. I have had the forks and shock serviced by them every year which costs about $600 each time. New seals, oil, bushings, etc. All done by Kelvin, who is CSR’s top technician in Indiana. I just had the shock serviced and have the receipt if you’re interested. The shock also has a low speed/hi speed dampening circuit that costs about $500 and lets you fine tune the suspension for whatever conditions you’re in. KTM went to the 4CS forks in 2013 to 2016 and they had lots of problems with them. These are closed chamber forks that preceded that change. I have an extra pair of wheels that I typically use for rocky riding and then switch to the set that’s on it for dirt. Both wheel sets have sprockets & rotors so you can just swap them in about 5 minutes. The bike has lots of engine protection and an adjustable shock linkage guard that costs about $400. Just replaced the RH side radiator and it has synthetic rubber hoses and TM chain guides. Also has a new rear sprocket and O-ring chain. If you go to NM or CO riding all you need to do is change the main jet and it runs fine up to about 10K ft. I’ve written down all of the suspension and jetting settings for various conditions which may help you too. (McKinney, Texas)

2002 KTM Enduro , I have for sale a 2002 KTM 640 LC4 Enduro. I bought this last Fall to give me something to do over the long winter we had here in PA. The bike has 12408 miles, though that may increase some. It has a new front tire and tube and the rear has a new tube and the tire has I would guess 65% tread left. Over the winter I rebuilt the water pump, replaced coolant hoses that needed replaced. Cleaned up the wiring a bit. Checked the valve clearance and made sure it is spot on. I checked over cam bearing and rocker bearings, all good. I resealed the rocker cover the was leaking at time of purchase. Replaced leaking exhaust seals. Completed full oil change, including changing both filters and engine oil as well as frame oil. I also replaced a few other bits and pieces that needed replacing. I also have another air filter, but the one in the bike appears good condition, so the new filter comes with the bike. Also included is several extra plastic parts, stock tail rack, stock hand guards, set of brake pads and counter sprocket, second tail plastic, and a complete set of manuals. The bike has installed Oxford heated grips, wired on a relay incase you forget to turn them off, Acerbis hand guards with 2 sets of plastic shields, and a Pro Moto Billet rack. The bike runs great! Starts with ease and is fun to ride. This bike has electric start as well as kick start. I am looking to get $3400 including everything listed and seen in pics. Compact 5-speed transmission utilizes a cable-operated clutch with separate outer cover for simplified clutch maintenance. A fully adjustable rear shock absorber with high/low speed compression damping adjuster and aluminum swingarm for precise rear wheel control. A bolt-on aluminum subframe helps reduce weight and simplify maintenance. RK Excel aluminum rims and radial tires: 120/70-R17 front, 140/70- R17 rear. Chrome-moly steel frame tuned for Supermoto style riding is torsionally strong with minimal weight. The backbone tube, front down tube, and steering head gussets form the dry-sump engine oil tank. The large twin-air filter is mounted in a stiff cage, which at the same time holds the system in place. This design is so simple, you could still pop a fresh one in with a face full of mud. Without tools. In seconds. FRAME The high-tech, lightweight chrome-moly steel frame is engineered for excellent handling, precise cornering and supreme stability. You can also count on high torsional rigidity and low longitudinal stiffness for better absorption of the energy created by the front and rear suspension sucking up jumps and bumps. In short: more comfort and less rider fatigue. Laterally attached, lightweight engine head stays contribute to a reduced vibration level. Two threaded inserts in the lower cradle tubes allow for an optional skid plate.
